Price includes a 90-minute online instructional session, a mailed packet containing an abundance of materials, and access to future online drawing sessions for alumni only.

Greetings, and welcome to Mixed Medium. This is an online studio session with creative play at its core, designed for groups or teams who already know each other and are keen to share creative time. We draw across mediums, working in a way that is open, exploratory, and accessible to all, regardless of prior experience. I facilitate a multi-image mixed-media drawing project with material demos, drawing exercises, and thematic prompts. Not a paint-by-number situation, everyone comes away with a series of unique small works and plenty of art supplies to keep going. This is a way to generate fresh ideas, develop connections between colleagues and concepts, and invigorate your own sense of playful inquiry, balance, and focus.

The minimum group size is five, with a maximum of fifteen, so it’s uncrowded on the screen and easy to converse.

You’ll receive a package in the mail with drawing supplies, a range of paper, mats for finished pieces, and assorted treats - soap from Filthy Farmgirl, erasers that don’t look like erasers, post-drawing tea, and more. Each box will be slightly different for everyone, and contains ample supplies to create a series of original small-scale artworks.

We meet via Zoom, and it’s best experienced on a laptop or computer monitor with a large screen and webcam. Please download the free Zoom app on to your computer (www.zoom.us) prior to getting together.

Payment is through the link below (PayPal) or personal check (please email me if paying by check). Alas, I can only ship materials within the US; if you’re abroad, I am happy to send a materials list to you and offer a ‘far-flung friends’ discount - please email me for details.
